Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville headlines this week’s lineup of new Nintendo Switch eShop releases.
There’s plenty to look forward to on Nintendo Switch this week, with a compelling mix of old and new games coming to the eShop.
Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is an absolutely perfect fit for the Switch, assuming the port is up to scratch. It’s the first Frostbite-developed game from EA to come to Nintendo’s console, so we are intrigued to see how it performs. We are cautiously optimistic, but we also felt the same about Apex Legends. And that didn’t turn out well at all.
The story surrounding the development of Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning often overshadows the game itself, which is a shame as it’s a finely crafted RPG with some memorable moments. In this case, we expect the Switch port to be absolutely fine.
Other new release highlights include R.B.I. Baseball 21, the remaster of Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse, and the acclaimed narrative card game, Signs of the Sojourner.
