New Nintendo Switch releases for March 4-8, 2019

Here is this week’s roundup of new eShop video game releases for the Nintendo Switch and 3DS.

New Nintendo Switch eShop releases

Here is this week’s roundup of new eShop releases for the Nintendo Switch and 3DS.

If the Switch port is of a high standard, this week’s most exciting game is the first-person action adventure, Valley. Originally released in 2016, Blue Isle’s game features some thrilling traversal mechanics, a sumptuous world to explore (assuming it arrives on Switch in good shape), and wonderful soundtrack. Fingers crossed for this one.

Following on from last week’s Ape Out, the Switch gets another fun top-down action game with 12 is Better Than 6. The game takes the violent shoot-outs of Hotline: Miami to the Wild West, and renders them in a blood-splattered, pencil-drawn art style.

Other new Nintendo Switch releases include Hard West, R.B.I. Baseball 19, and Beat Cop, the darkly comic ’80s police adventure from 11 Bit Studios.

More innocent pursuits can be found with Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn, which comes to Nintendo 3DS. This update the charming 2010 Nintendo Wii adventure features a new difficulty mode, and some new mini-games.

Here’s the current breakdown of this week’s new Nintendo eShop releases. We’ll keep this page updated throughout the week with any last-minute additions.
