This week’s lineup of new Nintendo Switch eShop releases includes a ferocious RPG and a small town mutant soap opera.
Around 40 new games are released on the Nintendo Switch eShop this week. The list is in flux, so expect some changes to the lineup over the next few days.
The highlights are easy to spot, however. Our pick of the week is Mutazione, the soap opera exploration game from Die Gute Fabrik. It’s a visually distinct and decidedly offbeat adventure that features engaging gardening mechanics, and a cast of memorable characters brought vividly to life through excellent writing.
Next up is Maneater, the acclaimed Carcharhinus leucas RPG from Tripwire Interactive. Despite its quirky premise, this is a full-fledged role-playing game with a diverse open world and an extensive array of enemies to chew over.
Other new Nintendo Switch games include the full release of Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster, Super Bomberman R Online, and the colonial Caribbean strategy sim, Port Royale 4.
