Dark Light

Skatebird, Toem, and Cruis’n Blast are the highlights from this week’s lineup of Nintendo Switch eShop releases.

Skatebird from Glass Bottom Games is a small scale skateboarding game staring a pet bird. It’s the perfect premise for a video game, and we can’t wait to tackle its avian-sized skateparks and explore the Pro Skater-inspired gameplay mechanics.

We’re also hopeful that Toem lives up to its promise. Something We Made’s photography-based adventure features stunning hand-drawn aesthetics and an adorable world to discover.

Elsewhere, industry legend Eugene Jarvis is back with Cruis’n Blast, a port of the 2017 arcade racer. Jarvis has also teased that the Cruis’n classics of yesteryear may also come to Switch.

Other new Nintendo Switch releases include a port of JRPG Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, the Chucklefish published Eastward, and the retro-inspired precision platformer, Dojoran.

We’ll update this page with any late Nintendo eShop additions throughout the week.
