Darksiders III and FIFA 22 are among this week’s new Nintendo Switch eShop releases.
A jam-packed week on the Nintendo Switch is headlined by the arrival of Darksiders III. THQ Nordic’s 2018 action RPG was a surprise revival for a seemingly dormant franchise, and although it’s not quite as polished as the first two games – also available on Switch – it’s fun and furious.
Also arriving this week is FIFA 22. Once again, Nintendo Switch owners have to make do with a Legacy Edition, which updates team rosters, kits, and stadiums but little else. It’s the fourth year running the series has received this treatment, which is a pity considering the console’s success. We reviewed FIFA 21 and liked it well enough, so if you’re a Switch owner new to the series, it might be worth considering.
Other new Nintendo Switch releases include a welcome update for XBLA favourite Toy Soldiers, whodunnit adventure Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The First Cases, and a pair of classic shooters from the Cotton series.
