A classic Star Wars game and an adaptation of a famous tabletop RPG headline this week’s new PlayStation 4 releases on the PS Store.
An updated version of Raven Software’s 2003 shooter Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy is our pick from this week’s crop of new PS4 releases. Aspyr Media’s port is more of a reissue than a full remaster, but we’re looking forward to revisiting its suite of online multiplayer modes and finding out if the game has stood the test of time.
Sci-fi fans looking for more considered thrills should check out Element Space from Sixth Vowel. It’s a turn-based tactical squad RPG that picked up some enthusiastic fans when it was released on PC last year.
Likewise, Vampire: The Masquerade — Coteries Of New York. It’s a dark, narrative-driven adventure based on White Wolf’s popular tabletop role-playing game.
It’s also a bumper week for manga fans with both One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 and Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution coming to PS4. Other new releases include Moons of Madness, Oniken, and Paper Beast.
Here is the full lineup of confirmed PlayStation Store games for the PS4, PS VR, and PS Vita.

Thumbsticks has a couple of goals. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough to meet those goals! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
