Death Stranding and Need for Speed: Heat headline next week’s lineup of new PlayStation 4 releases.

If you’re looking for a strange new world to explore with mysterious creatures to evade, cool customisations to unlock and assistance provided by other online players, we have some good news. Jumanji: The Video Game is out next week.

If you want to add poop grenades to the experience, Death Stranding is also on the way. The game has been divisive since it was unveiled in 2016 and so it has proved with critics. For good or ill, Death Stranding is a Kojima game all right.

And if ambling across a vast wilderness is too sedate, EA’s street-racing franchise returns with Need for Speed: Heat. The game certainly looks like an improvement on 2015’s Need for Speed and Need for Speed: Payback but we’re keeping our expectations firmly in check.

Other new games include Stay Cool, Kobayashi-San!: A River City Ransom StoryValfaris and Ubisoft’s Just Dance 2020. Here’s the full lineup of new PlayStation 4 releases.
