Dark Light

Sony has announced that three more titles are joining the PlayStation Now game streaming and download subscription service.

Marvel’s Avengers from Crystal Dynamics is the headline act of the three games assembling on PlayStation Now in April. The game came in for some deserved criticism on its release last August, and although being available via PlayStation Now won’t fix its problems, it at least allows subscribers to sample it for no extra cost.

The second addition is Borderlands 3 from Gearbox Studios. The game doesn’t shake up the franchise in any meaningful way – it’s best described as ‘more Borderlands’ – but just enough of that 2009 magic remains to make it worthwhile.

The final title to join PlayStation Now is Hinterland Studio’s exploration-survival experience, The Long Dark. If you pine for the cold nights of winter – or have a penchant for wolves – you’ll feel right at home.

PlayStation Now – April Additions

  • Marvel’s Avengers – April 6 to July 5, 2021
  • Borderlands 3 – April 6 to September 29, 2021
  • The Long Dark – Availability date not confirmed

From April 7, Sony is also offering a seven-day free trial for PS4 and PS5 owners who are not currently subscribed to the service.
