Sony has revealed the free games available to PlayStation Plus subscribers in May 2022.
May’s PlayStation Plus lineup is headlined by FIFA 22. EA’s long-running sports simulation is in decent shape on the field – although it has very little competition – and features a wealth of gameplay modes. We expect that most football fans have tried the game, but it’s a welcome PS Plus inclusion.
PlayStation Plus members also receive a special FUT Pack for FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. It contains 11 players rated 82 or above, plus an Icon Moments Loan Player Pick. We say, leave well alone.
Up next is the action-survival RPG Tribes of Midgard. A few rough edges aside, it’s an enjoyable adventure from Norsfell Games set in an impressive procedurally-generated world.
Finally, Curse of the Dead Gods is an acclaimed action roguelike from Passtech Games. This one passed us by on release, but we love deadly temples and look forward to giving it a go.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can claim all three games from May 3, 2022.

Last month’s PS Plus games – Hood: Outlaws & Legends, Slay the Spire, and SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom remain available to claim until May 2, 2022.
