Dark Light

Here’s the full rundown on the free PlayStation Plus games for January 2018.

The first free PlayStation Plus games of 2018 have been revealed, and they are a huge improvement on last month’s disappointing lineup.

The pick of the bunch is Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Eidos Montreal’s underrated mash-up of the first-person action, stealth, and RPG genres.

Also coming to PlayStation 4 is the first season of Batman: The Telltale Series. The game is a little rough around the edges – and its story does flounder in later episodes – but it’s an interesting and fresh take on DC’s most familiar superhero.

Elsewhere, the venerable PlayStation 3 gets Sacred 3, and The Book of Unwritten Tales 2. And the PS Vita gets Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness, and Uncanny Valley.

Next month’s PlayStation Plus bonuses are a free download of PS VR arena combat game Starblood Arena, and a Warframe Booster Pack bundle that includes 100 Platinum, 50,000 Credits, plus various other items and perks.

January’s PlayStation Plus games will be available from Tuesday January 2, 2018.
