Dark Light

Sony announces the games coming to PlayStation Plus in February.

Last month’s PlayStation Plus selection was one of the strongest for some time, with a number of excellent games released across all three Sony consoles. February’s line-up is not quite as spectacular but it’s still solid, particularly for PlayStation 4 owners.

The biggest game coming to PlayStation Plus this month is probably LittleBigPlanet 3, the third home console game in a reliably wonderful, but often overlooked franchise. LittleBigPlanet 3 is far more than a platformer creator and there are many pleasurable hours to be had playing through the best user creations.

It’s joined on PS4 by Roll7’s colourful, chaotic and violent 2D shooter, Not a Hero.

PlayStation 4 owners can also play the pick of the month’s PS3 releases. Breakfall’s Starwhal is neon-soaked combination of Trials, Ecco the Dolphin and Geometry Wars. It’s a tricky game to master but its entertaining single-player campaign does a great job of teaching the skills required to rule the roost in the game’s exhilarating multiplayer mode.

And finally, over on PS Vita, you can pick up Ninja Senki DX and shape-manipulation puzzler, TorqueL.

This month’s games will be available to download from February 7th. Here’s the full line-up:
