Sony has revealed the three video games available to PlayStation Plus subscribers in January 2022.

The new year begins with another solid lineup of freebies for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners.

The highlight is Dirt 5, the well-received 2020 racing game from Codemasters. Rallycross isn’t to everyone’s taste, but it’s hard to ignore Dirt 5‘s production values, authenticity, and driving mechanics.

Following two years of Xbox and PC exclusivity, Ghost Ship’s Deep Rock Galactic launches next week as a PlayStation Plus title. The game is a jaunty co-op FPS with crafting and mining elements that has quietly built a dedicated player base.

January’s final game is Persona 5 Strikers. Omega Force’s action RPG is a crossover between the popular Dynasty Warriors franchise and the acclaimed Atlus RPG Persona 5. It’s light but enjoyable fan service.

All three games will be available to download for PlayStation Plus members from January 4, 2022.
