Here is next week’s lineup of new PlayStation Store releases for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
It’s another jam-packed week on the PlayStation Store, but with no AAA releases on the slate our attention is focused on a generous selection of indie titles.
Our pick of the week is Minit, an inventive new adventure game from Jan Willem Nijman, co-founder of Vlambeer. The game takes place in 60 second increments, with each round giving the player a chance to find new tools to advance their quest. It plays like a super-distilled version of The Legend of Zelda, and is super-clever.
Also released this week is Impact Winter, a survival game set in the chilly aftermath of an asteroid collision. It’s a game we rather liked, particularly its unsettling architecture, which we discussed with developer Mojo Bones.
It’s also a pretty busy week on the PS Vita with five new games released, the most interesting of which looks to be Penny-Punching Princess.
