Dying Light 2 Stay Human tops the list of this week’s new PlayStation Store releases for the PS4 and PS5.

Zombies, parkour, violent combat, and role-playing in an intricate open world. On paper, Dying Light 2 Stay Human has it all. Techland’s ambitious sequel promises a freeform experience with plenty of choices and consequences to match. We’ll find out if the game delivers when it comes to PS4 and PS5 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Life is Strange Remastered Collection gives us a welcome excuse to revisit two influential narrative-focused games. We enjoyed Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm plenty on their original release. The new remasters feature native 4K rendering, improved animation and character models, a new lighting system, and, best of all, new hair physics.

Other new PlayStation Store games include Maglam Lord, The Dead Tree of Ranchiuna, and The Sealed Ampoule.

We’ll update this page with news of any additional releases throughout the week. Here’s what we have confirmed so far.

We have a favour to ask

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. But it's hard to do that in the current financial climate. If you'd like to help us fund these aims, you could always buy the team a cup of coffee.
