Here’s a quick rundown on this week’s new PlayStation Store releases for the PS4.

This week’s lineup of PlayStation 4 releases isn’t dissimilar to this week’s crop of new Xbox One games, with one notable exception.

First up, we have three racers on the starting grid. Dirt 5 is the latest rally game from Codemasters and, as usual, you can look forward to a full-featured experience with mind-boggling attention to detail. This year’s career mode has received a significant revamp, gaining a new narrative focus that includes performances from Nolan North and Troy Baker.

If recent entries in EA’s Need for Speed series have left you cold, the remastered edition of Criterion’s Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is a welcome sight. A visual upgrade and the inclusion of all post-release DLC should make this classic racer worth taking for another spin.

Finally, Speed 3 Grand Prix is a track-racing sequel from Lion Castle Entertainment that takes in locations from around the globe, including Britain, Germany, and Japan.

Our PlayStation 4 pick of the week is Lair of the Clockwork God, the latest (and final) adventure in Size Five’s Ben and Dan series. The game is ostensibly a combination of platformer and point-and-click adventure, but that description barely scratches the surface. It’s not an easy game to define – so do read Tom’s glowing five-star review – but it is one to remember. There’s little doubt it will be in contention for our best of the year.

Other new PS4 releases include Ponpu, Grey Skies: A War of the Worlds Story, and Ord. We’ll update this page if any new games are confirmed.
