Kalypso Media’s beloved dictator franchise continues with PC pre-orders now open for Tropico 6.
Tropico 6 is now available to pre-order ahead of its January 2019 release on the official Tropico website, Steam, the Humble Store, and other digital retailers.
Players who pre-order the Standard Edition will get access to the closed PC beta, and a 10% discount on the full game. The El Prez Edition adds some in-game content, including a tourist outfit for El Prez, a Flamingo Pond for the presidential palace, a digital soundtrack, and a digital calendar. New customers to the official Kalypso Shop can get an additional 15% reduction.
The Tropico 6 PC beta has recently been updated with new missions and a full sandbox mode. Tutorials spanning the Colonial, World Wars, Cold War, and Modern Times eras are included, along with three sandbox maps, and three full missions.
The upgraded PC beta also adds a range of visual and animation enhancements, additional overlays, bug fixes, and support for English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Russian languages. Kalypso promise that more content will be added to the beta before the game’s full release.
Tropico 6 is set for release on Windows PC, Mac, and Linux on January 29, 2019. Console editions are planned for release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later in the year.
