Dark Light

Here’s our weekly roundup of new PlayStation Store releases for the PS5 and PS4.

As the excitement surrounding the launch of the new console generation subsides, it’s nice to have a bit of a breather. That said, if you’ve just picked up a PlayStation 5, you might be hoping for a few more games to play. At the time of writing, this week’s lineup of new PlayStation releases is the smallest we’ve seen all year.

Pick of the week is Vigor, the free-to-play online looter shooter from Bohemia Interactive. The game hasn’t been an instant smash, but it has quietly built a player base and reached five million players following Switch its release earlier this year.

UDPATE: Bohemia Interactive has now confirmed that Vigor’s PS4 release has been delayed.

Other new releases include Star Renegades, In Celebration of Violence, and Out of Space: Couch Edition. Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs: Legion also gets its belated physical release on PS5.

The slim lineup is probably due to the holiday weekend in the US. Luckily for gamers, that also means sales, and the PlayStation Store Black Friday sale is jam-packed with excellent games that will keep you occupied until the release of Cyberpunk 2077.

Here’s the current list of new PS4 and PS5 releases.
