Xbox One Sale - Celeste

Celeste, Guacamelee! 2, and A Plague Tale: Innocence are among the treats to be found in four new Xbox One sales.

It’s been relatively quiet for new video game releases of late, so if you’re looking for something new to play now’s a good time to take advantage of the various summer sales.

This week’s batch of new Xbox One game discounts are spread across four promotions. The Platforming Paradise sale includes the terrific selection of jumpy games including Celeste, Owlboy, and Shovel Knight, among many others.

Madden NFL 19 is the big name in this week’s Spotlight selection, and the latest crop of Deals with Gold features price cuts for A Plague Tale: Innocence, Grid, and The Talos Principle.

There’s also a batch of Free to Play savings to had on in-game purchases from the likes of Paladins, Skyforge Online, and Dungeon Defenders II.

Each sale title can be purchased from the Xbox One digital store, or the Microsoft online store, until 15 July, 2019. Here are some recommendations.

We hate to ask, but...

Thumbsticks has a couple of goals. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough to meet those goals! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
