Another day, another big sale on the Humble store. This time, it’s a publisher sale from 505 Games.
505 Games might not be the biggest, best-known publisher. They don’t have the size and budget of the likes of Ubisoft or EA, nor do they make as much noise as Devolver Digital, but they’re strong in one key area: their games.
From the dreamy underwater adventure of Abzû to the tense struggle for oxygen in Adrift, there’s no shortage of moving stories on offer from 505 Games. Josef Fares’ Brothers is another combination of meaningful story and imaginative mechanics, while Virginia is a masterpiece in cinematic phrasing and pacing.
Some of those games are very keenly priced in the Humble 505 Games sale, too. Adrift is less than a fiver, while you can pick up Virginia for less than a pound. Less than a pound!
It’s not all drama and emotion, though. 505 Games also publish one of the biggest, most-realistic racing simulators, Assetto Corsa, and Laser League, a cross between Tron and the Bitmap Brothers’ classic future sports game, Speedball.
