Katana Zero and Hotline Miami Collection are among some excellent new Nintendo Switch eShop discounts from Devolver Digital.
Frequent visitors to Thumbsticks will know that we like a sale or two, especially on Nintendo Switch. This week’s Switch savings include some highly recommended games from publisher Devolver Digital.
We start with the wonderful Ape Out from Gabe Cuzzillo. It’s an enjoyable and ultra violent game that we loved, calling it “simultaneously stylish and meaty.”
Equally violent and equally delicious is Katana Zero from Askiisoft. The game features artful combat, an intriguing story, and an ‘80s aesthetic done right for once.
The killing spree continues with Hotline: Miami, the game that put Devolver Digital firmly on the map. It’s included in the Hotline Miami Collection which gets a whopping 50% discount. The first game is the best by a slither, but the overlooked second instalment is still one of the most thrilling top-down action experiences around.
Also reduced are action platformer Not a Hero: Super Snazzy Edition and 2D beat ‘em up, Mother Russia Bleeds.
