Xbox One sale - Star Wars

Save on Lego games, Grand Theft Auto V, and The Golf Club 2 with this week’s Xbox One discounts.

Three more sales are now running on the Xbox digital games store, with savings of up to 80% on offer across a range of titles. This week’s Deals with Gold highlights include Oscar Brittain’s inventive indie adventure, Desert Child, a double-pack of Styx games, and the acclaimed Thimbleweed Park. A little game called Grand Theft Auto V is also discounted by 50%, along with various packs of in-game currency for GTA Online.

Also starting today is the Lego Franchise Sale. Traveller’s Tales’ games are so ubiquitous they are easy to overlook, but their quality remains high, and the likes of Lego DC Super-Villains and Lego Marvel’s Avengers are well worth checking out. Also, don’t hesitate in picking up Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens, either. The upcoming Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga will be a completely new game.

Finally, this week’s Spotlight discounts include The Golf Club 2, Atomine, and Starpoint Gemini 2. Visit the Xbox One digital store, or the Microsoft online store to see the full lineup of discounted games available in your region. Here are our picks.

We hate to ask, but...

Thumbsticks has a couple of goals. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough to meet those goals! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
