Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Day One Edition will get a Nintendo Switch physical release in North America in May.
Last week we reported on the European physical release of WayForward’s Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, which will come to both PlayStation 4 and Switch on April 27, 2018.
Xseed Games – who are handling North American distribution – have now confirmed that a retail release of the game will hit stores in the US and Canada on May 8, 2018.
Apart from the slight wait, the Ultimate Day One Edition will feature the same selection of packed-in goodies: a 30-track Risky Beats soundtrack CD, a one-hundred page art book, and the Pirate Queen’s Quest, Costume Mode, and Friends Mode DLC.
Digital versions of the Ultimate Edition will be published by WayForward, and will be available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam for Windows PC.
