During yesterday’s QuakeCon at Home 2021 live stream, Bethesda revealed that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will get a new release to celebrate the iconic RPG’s tenth anniversary.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One – plus PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S via back compat – on November 11, 2021.

As you might expect, the new edition is packed with a host of upgrades and bonuses. The release includes every visual and technical enhancement from 2016’s Special Edition, plus the Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn content expansions.

The best news is that more than 500 Creation Club elements – featuring quests, dungeons, bosses, weapons, and spells – will also be included.

No, wait. The actual best news is that Skyrim is also getting a fishing minigame as a free upgrade for all players. (You can catch a glimpse of a Pogfish around three minutes into the video below.)

Owners of the Special Edition will be able to upgrade to the Anniversary Edition for an as-yet-unannounced price. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S owners can also look forward to a next-gen update at a later date.
