Spider-Man sticks to the top of the UK video games chart for a second week, and there are new entries for Shadow of the Tomb Raider and NBA 2K19.

Marvel’s Spider-Man, the super-hero PlayStation 4 exclusive from Insomniac Games, has comfortably held on to No.1 in the latest UK software charts from GfK Chart Track.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider enters in second place, and basketball simulation NBA 2K19 bounces into the chart at No.3. The only other new entry is hockey simulation NHL 19, which debuts at No.28.

Last week’s number two, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, tumbles right down the chart, and then some, landing at No. 29. Destiny 2: Forsaken – last week’s No.8 – also leaves the top ten, dropping to No.26.

Elsewhere in the top ten, Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy continues its residency and moves up one place to fourth. F1 2019 also retains its top ten placing, and The Elder Scrolls Online benefits from various sales promotions, climbing from No.27 to eighth.

Grand Theft Auto V also sits comfortably at No.6. Rockstar’s game is so ever-present in the UK chart that we sometimes forget it’s even there.

You can see the full UK software chart for the week ending September 15, 2018 at the GFK Chart Track website.
