Dark Light

Google has confirmed the four new video games that Stadia Pro members can claim in July 2021.

Moonlighter is our top recommendation from the new additions. 11-bit studio’s game plays with RPG genre conventions to excellent effect, creating a chill mix of dungeon adventuring and shop management. It’s a humorous experience – making no secret of its admiration for classics of the past – and also very clever. Most importantly, it’s a whole lot of fun.

Next up is Terraria, a long-established sandbox classic that made headlines earlier this year when Re-Logic’s Andrew Spinks said the Stadia version was cancelled due to his Google accounts being locked.

Fortunately, everyone made up, and Terraria was eventually released in March. Now that it’s coming to Pro, we can only assume they are all best friends.

Also available to Stadia Pro subscribers in July is the enjoyably hokey point-and-click adventure The Darkside Detective and arcade sports game Street Power Football.

If you haven’t tried Stadia, new subscribers can get a free month of Pro, giving instant access to more than 20 other games, including PUBG, Hitman, Little Nightmares II, and Resident Evil VII.

Elsewhere, Ubisoft’s smash-hit online action game Rainbow Six Siege also joins the service from tomorrow, and the Stadia Store Mega Sale also returns with a host of discounts on a number of top games.
