Here’s a quick PSA for fans of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Find out who the next DLC fighter is in today’s livestream.
Update: Min Min will be the game’s 83rd – yes, 83rd – fighter and comes with the new Spring Stadium stage. In addition, new Mii Fighter costumes featuring characters from Fallout, Arms, Tekken and Splatoon series will also be available. The update will be released on June 29, 2020.
Original story: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai will be hosting a special live stream this afternoon to reveal the first fighter from the game’s second Fighters Pass. We don’t know who the fighter is, only that it will be a character from the 2017 Nintendo Switch fighting game, Arms.
If we had to express a preference, we’d go for Spring Man, or failing that, Byte and Barq.
We’ll get the answer at 3 pm BST / 10 am ET, 7 am PT. Sakurai is not noted for his brevity, so look forward a 35 minute-long live stream that will explore the new fighter’s moves and abilities.
Nintendo has confirmed that no other characters will be revealed on today’s broadcast. You can watch the reveal right here.
