Both The Last of Us and The Last of Us Part II are in this week’s UK video game chart Top 10.

The success of PlayStation 4 exclusive The Last of Us Part II – which sold over four million copies in three days – has had a knock-on effect on sales of its predecessor in this week’s UK Top 10 from Gfk. The Last of Us: Remastered jumps eight places up the chart, landing at No.9. (PSA: If you want to catch up with the first game’s story but don’t have time to play it, read our comprehensive recap.)

The Last of Us Part II holds No.1 for a second week despite competition from Bravely Second: End Layer on Nintendo 3DS.

Wait. What?

Bravely Second is one of four Nintendo 3DS games in the Top 40. We expect that Argos is to blame. The UK retailer is offering huge discounts on a range of 3DS titles, with some down to as little as £1.49 (Yes, we bought Metroid Prime: Federation Force. What of it?)

Anyway, back to the Top 10. Spongebob Squarepants: Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated has enough fans for it to debut at No.3. Ring Fit Adventure drops one place to No.4, and Grand Theft Auto V continues to bob around the chart, settling this week at No.8.

Here is this week’s physical software Top 10 chart.
