Prepare for the release of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 with these fantastic soundtrack samples.
We’re trying to shield ourselves from Nintendo’s publicity onslaught for Xenoblade Chronicles 3. We hope the game’s marketing push is successful, of course, but we’re keeping away from the details so as not to spoil the experience.
That said, we’re finding lots of pleasure in listening to the score excerpts Nintendo has been teasing on Twitter.
Composers Yasunori Mitsuda, Manami Kiyota, ACE (TOMOri Kudo, CHiCO), Kenji Hiramatsu, and Mariam Abounnasr return to the series with the daunting task of producing a soundtrack that is a match for the first two games.
And so far, so good. Based on the clips below, the soundtrack is shaping up to be another classic.
An epic sense of adventure is evident in Millik Meadow, whereas A Life Sent On and The Weight of Life show subtly and texture. Meanwhile, You Will Know Our Names – Finale gives an iconic Xenoblade track a strident update.
Treat your ears to a listen.
