11 bit studio’s survival game, This War of Mine, is currently free to play on PC via Steam.
War survival game, This War of Mine, is free to play on Steam until April 8. Inspired by the events of the Siege of Sarajevo in the early ’90s, the game approaches war from a different perspective than is usual for video games by focusing on the experience of being a civilian, rather than a solider.
Sometimes heartbreaking, and often thought-provoking, the game provides a compelling gameplay experience, despite its unflinching depiction of war and the horrors of conflict.
If you want to purchase This War of Mine, its price has been reduced by generous 70% on Steam – to £4.49 here in the UK – until April 9, 2018.
The studio’s next game, the steam punk city-builder, Frostpunk, is due for PC release on April 24, 2018.
