Dark Light

This week’s Xbox One Deals with Gold and Spotlight sales feature big discounts on games including Tacoma and The Surge 2.

There’s a big new expansion coming to Deck13’s The Surge 2 this week, so it’s nice to see the base game get a meaty 50% discount on the Xbox One digital games store. If you like brutal, tech-focussed RPGs, it’s well worth a look.

Another sale highlight is Fullbright’s Tacoma. The game lacks the elegant simplicity of the studio’s groundbreaking Gone Home, but it’s an engrossing and satisfying piece of science-fiction storytelling.

Other recommendations include an Escapists double pack, the remaster of Nintendo 64 classic, Turok, and Asobo Studio’s A Plague Tale: Innocence.

An Add-On sale is also serving up savings a smorgasbord of DLC from games including Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Dark Souls III, and many more.

These discounts are valid through to January 20, 2020. Visit the Xbox One digital store, or the Microsoft online store to grab them. Here’s the full lineup.
