Limited Run Games is releasing two physical editions of Kan Gao’s classic game, To The Moon.

To The Moon is a special game, and one of many indie classics from the last decade to reach a new audience on Nintendo Switch. That’s how I discovered this delightful and touching tale of two doctors who try and fulfil a dying man’s final wish using artificial memories.

It’s a narrative-led adventure in which complex game mechanics are stripped back so that the sparkling dialogue and emotional themes can take centre-stage.

Limited Run Games – who recently produced an excellent boxed edition of Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game – are releasing two physical versions of To The Moon. In addition to a standard boxed release, there’s a Deluxe Edition packed with fun goodies. These include a copy of the game’s superb soundtrack, a plushie, and two pins depicting River and Johnny.

To The Moon – Deluxe Edition Contents

  • To The Moon Game Card
  • Original Soundtrack on Physical CD
  • Reversible 18″ x 24″ Poster
  • River & Johnny Label Pins
  • Patty Plush
  • Origami Bunny PVC Keychain

The Standard Edition costs $29.99, and the Deluxe Edition comes in at $64.99. Pre-orders open on February 12 from the Limited Run website.

To The Moon - Deluxe Edition

To The Moon is also available on the Nintendo eShop and comes highly recommended. A followup, Finding Paradise, is now in development.
