Get set for Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package on Nintendo Switch with the first Memorable Moments trailer.
Publisher Deep Silver whets our appetite for Saints Row: The Third with the first in a new series of gameplay videos.
When Good Heists Go Bad shows The Boss, Shaundi and GAT attempting to rob Stilbank’s National Bank in a heist that doesn’t go entirely according to plan.
The promo is reminder of how much fun the game is, with its freewheeling, tongue-in-cheek action making us nostalgic for simpler times.
Following The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Skyrim, and L.A. Noire we were hopeful that more last-gen open world games would come to Nintendo’s console, with Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption among the games at the top of our wish-list.
Assuming that Saints Row: The Third is technically up to scratch, we hope the release is a success, and that it paves the way for more publishers to dig deep into their Xbox 360 and PS3 back-catalogues. We are also cautiously optimistic for Ubisoft’s port of Assassin’s Creed III Remastered, which is also set for release in May.
Based on the new trailer, the Nintendo Switch version of Saints Row: The Third performs at a decent clip, even if the overall look of the game betrays its age.
Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package will be released for the Nintendo Switch on May 10, 2019. You can pick it up from the Nintendo eShop and at retail where it’s also available in a Deluxe Pack that includes a poster, stickers, and various other goodies.
