Square Enix has opened pre-orders for a four-disc Triangle Strategy soundtrack featuring music composed by Akira Senju.
Triangle Strategy – the tactical strategy RPG formerly known as Project Triangle Strategy – is set to release on Nintendo Switch on March 4, 2022.
The game is the latest from Square Enix to employ the publisher’s 2D-HD graphics technology. The art style – which gives 2D pixels an impressive pop-up effect – was first used on the 2018 RPG Octopath Traveller, and the term 2D-HD has since been trademarked by Square Enix in Europe.
Octopath Traveller featured a sublime soundtrack by composer Yasunori Nishiki. For Triangle Strategy, developer Artdink has turned to Akira Senju, who has previously scored a slew of features and animes, including Victory Gundam, Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike, and Valvrave the Liberator.
The official Triangle Strategy soundtrack will be released as a four-CD collection on March 9, 2022 . A tracklisting hasn’t been confirmed, but the soundtrack is already available to pre-order from the North American Square Enix store. It’s priced at $42.99.
