Ubisoft lifts the lid on the new season of For Honor, and introduces new hero, the Hitokiri.
The Hitokiri joins the Samurai faction at the launch of For Honor Year 3, Season 2, which begins on May 2, 2019.
Described as ghostly warriors who have lost all faith in humanity, the new archetype – which will be available in both female and male versions – will be released to Year 3 pass holders from 10am PT on May 2, 2019. All other players will be able to add the Hitokiri to their game from May 9 in exchange for 15,000 Steel.
Ubisoft say that Season 2 will also bring improvements to the existing roster of fighters, with a focus on the Lawbringer and the Raider. A new map called Canopy is also in the works, and set for release when the season begins.
Players will get their first look at the game’s new content in a Warrior’s Den live stream broadcast via the For Honor Twitch channel on April 25, 2019.
For Honor is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Year 3 pass is currently available for purchase separately, or as part of the For Honor Complete Edition.
