Fire Emblem Engage headlines this week’s lineup of new video game releases for the PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
The first Nintendo Switch exclusive of the year leads a packed week of new console releases. Fire Emblem Engage appears to dial back some of the social elements featured in the acclaimed Fire Emblem: Three Houses, but a cast of familiar faces, and an upgrade in production values, should make this another tactical RPG to savour.
Another highlight is Colossal Cave Reimagined by Roberta Williams. The game is a tribute to the iconic text adventure Colossal Cave Adventure from Sierra On-Line founders Ken and Roberta Williams.
Elsewhere, cult Atlus RPGs Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden come to all platforms, and the excellent Monster Hunter Rise roars onto PlayStation and Xbox.
Other new video game releases include Wings of Bluestar, OmegaBot, and Tortuga – A Pirate’s Tale.
