WRC Generations and Harvestella are among this week’s new video game releases for the PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
Despite a lack of blockbuster titles, it’s a jam-packed week of new video game releases.
WRC Generations will hopefully continue KT Racing’s solid work with a rally franchise that has often come close to greatness. The game features Group Rally1, Group Rally2, and legendary cars, plus the new cross-platform Leagues Mode. Maybe this will be the game to finally establish the series among the best on the market. It’s out on Xbox and PlayStation this week and comes to Nintendo Switch in December.
Fans of lifestyle sims are spoilt for choice this week. Doraemon: Story of Seasons – Friends of the Great Kingdom comes to Switch and PlayStation. Square Enix’s promising new IP Harvestella is a Switch console exclusive and available on PC.
We’re also excited to play Shatter Remastered Deluxe, partly for its polished arcade thrills but mostly to revisit Module’s sublime soundtrack. It’s available on all platforms.
Other new video game releases include Missile Command: Recharged, Dragon Prana, and Ghost Song. Roll7’s acclaimed skating game OlliOlli World also gets some new DLC.
