A free demo for the upcoming Nintendo Switch game WarioWare: Get It Together! is now available to download from the Nintendo eShop.
It’s been a long time since we’ve had a new WarioWare game and an even longer time since we’ve had a truly great WarioWare game. We’re hopeful that WarioWare: Get It Together! will revitalise the series when it’s released for the Nintendo Switch next month.
The game’s sense of humour looks intact, so that’s reassuring, but there are gameplay changes too. For the first time, Wario’s “friends” are also playable. Each character has a distinct ability that can change how each microgame can be played.
It’s also the first game in the series to support two players on the same screen, either by using two Joy-Con controllers on one system or by using wireless play with an additional Switch and copy of the game.
The free Nintendo eShop demo is available to download now. And here’s a new trailer to tease some of the high-jinks to look forward to.
WarioWare: Get It Together! will be released for the Nintendo Switch on September 10, 2021.
