Microsoft has announced the first eight titles to join Xbox Game Pass in September.

Final Fantasy XIII is the standout addition and one of four games joining Xbox Game Pass today.

The Square Enix RPG received a mixed response when it was first released in 2009, but despite some well-documented flaws, it’s a beautiful and thoughtfully designed adventure. The back combat version is also excellent, with improved resolution, performance, and cut scenes.

Signs of the Sojourner, Surgeon Simulator 2, and Craftopia also join the service today.

Next week, subscribers can play roguelike shooter Nuclear Throne and the sadly overlooked sci-fi adventure, Breathedge.

Here’s the complete list of new Game Pass titles, along with the games leaving the service this month.
