Microsoft Flight Simulator and The Ascent headline the list of new Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One releases.

After what seems like an eternity waiting for take-off, Microsoft Flight Simulator finally comes to Xbox Series X|S next week. Previews indicate the console version of the game performs well and looks spectacular. The only downside might be the slightly awkward translation of the game’s mouse and keyboard interface to a controller. Nonetheless, it’s pleasing to see next-gen Xbox consoles get a genuinely fantastic exclusive at long last.

Neon Giant’s twin-stick shooter RPG The Ascent is another console exclusive we’re excited to play. The game comes from a team of veteran developers and blends old school cyberpunk action with modern-day production values.

Both Microsoft Flight Simulator and The Ascent are also available via Xbox Game Pass. Other new releases include Samurai Warriors 5, Blaster Master Zero 3, and the inventive FPS, Splitgate.

Here’s the full lineup of new Xbox releases. We’ll update this page with any late additions throughout next week.
