Microsoft has revealed the four free video games coming to Xbox Games with Gold in March 2022.
Following Sony’s typically impressive PlayStation Plus announcement for March, a typically average Xbox Game with Gold lineup has also been confirmed.
That’s not to say that March’s Games with Gold are inherently terrible – far from it – they are just not that exciting in comparison to a Ghosts of Tsushima expansion and a top-notch Sonic racer.
Pick of the bunch is The Flame in the Flood from The Molasses Flood. The 2016 roguelike adventure is a charming beast, with perfectly crafted survival gameplay and a sublime guitar-centric soundtrack from Chuck Ragan.
Also included is Sacred 2 Fallen Angel, the 2008 action RPG from Ascraon and noted game designer Bob Bates. It was a perfectly fine game for its time, but it’s not one to drool over in 2022. The same goes for SpongeBob’s Truth or Square.
Nacon’s arcade football game Street Power Soccer completes the March Xbox lineup.

- Sacred 2 Fallen Angel – March 16 to April 15

- SpongeBob’s Truth or Square – March 16 to 31
Band of Bugs and Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse from last month‘s Games with Gold lineup are available to claim until the end of February. Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield is available until March 15.
