Microsoft has confirmed the lineup of new Xbox Game Pass additions on console and PC for the month of September.
Six new games are coming to Xbox One Game Pass this month, or should that be seven? The fun starts today Metal Gear Solid HD Edition: 2 & 3, which includes decent HD remasters of Sons of Liberty and Snake Eater. Even better, to our minds at least, is Motion Twin’s super addictive rogue-lite platformer, Dead Cells.
Friday sees the debut of Creature in the Well, a promising dungeon-crawler with pinball-inspired combat mechanics from Flight School Studio, However, the big release is the long-awaited Xbox exclusive, Gears 5. The Coalition’s latest is receiving praise across the board and looks like being an essential download for all subscribers.
Next week, two excellent indies also join the roster in the shape of Enter the Gungeon and Gonner.

Meanwhile, PC Game Pass subscribers don’t get the Metal Gear collection but do receive real-time tactics battler, Bad North and Flying Wild Hog’s Shadow Warrior 2.
