The return of Metal Wolf Chaos headlines the list of new videogames coming to the Xbox One digital store between August 5-9, 2019.

Metal Wolf Chaos XD, a new remaster of FromSoftware’s 2004 third-person shooter is this week’s Xbox One highlight. Players assume the role of Michael Wilson, a mech controlling POTUS who must battle swarms of enemies and vehicles across a series of destructible environments. The game is a real oddity. It was only ever released for the original Xbox, and only in Japan. The new version comes via the smart cookies at Devolver Digital.

Wartime pursuits of a more tactical nature can be found in Age of Wonders: Planetfall, a new 4X turn-based strategy game from Triumph Games and Paradox Interactive. Also worth a look is Must Dash Amigos, a top-down local multiplayer battle racer from ‪MiniBeast Game Studios. Other new Xbox games include Sagebrush, Damsel, and The Forbidden Arts.

All of next week’s new releases can be purchased from the Xbox One digital store or Microsoft online store. Here’s the full lineup.
