Life is Strange and Puyo Puyo Champions headline the list of new video games coming to the Xbox One from May 6-10, 2019.
If you enjoyed Tetris 99 on Nintendo Switch, Puyo Puyo Champions is just the game to move on to. The underlying mechanics of Sega’s puzzle series might not be as pure as those in Alexey Pajitnov’s famous creation, but they arguably offer more depth and complexity. And don’t let the franchise’s cute visuals fool you, Puyo Puyo can be a cruel, cruel game. This edition includes support for local and online multiplayer.
Also coming to Xbox One is Wastelands, the third episode of Life is Strange 2. As the adventure continues, protagonists Sean and Daniel get mixed up with a group of runaways and ne’er do wells in the forests of California. It happens.
Other games coming to Xbox One next week include Chubby Pixel’s middling platformer, Woodle Tree Adventures, and For the King, an ambitious RPG that blends tabletop and roguelike elements.
All of next week’s games can be downloaded from the Xbox One digital store, or via the Microsoft online store. Here’s the full lineup.
