Need for Speed Heat and Just Dance 2020 headline next week’s lineup of new Xbox One releases, we suppose.

Maybe we’re just old and jaded, but we find it hard to get too excited about a new game in EA’s meandering Need for Speed series. According to the sales pitch, Heat has it all: “expressive customisation, authentic urban car culture, and an immersive narrative.” It’s the ultimate street racer vs cop fantasy. Yes, we are old and jaded.

We doubt that Ubisoft’s latest game will make us feel any younger, but if you enjoy shaking your hips to the hits of Ariana Grande, Netta, Ed Sheeran or Justin Bieber, Just Dance 2020 should be a perfectly enjoyable experience.

Other new Xbox One releases include The Elder Scrolls Online: Dragonhold and Football Game, a new 90s style point-and-click adventure from Cloak and Dagger Games. The River City Ransom series also continues its resurgence with the new beat ‘em up, Stay Cool, Kobayashi-San!

Each game can be purchased from the Xbox digital store and Microsoft online store. Here is next week’s full release lineup.
