Here’s the full lineup of new video games coming to the Xbox One between October 29 and November 2, 2018.
With publishers perhaps assuming that we’ll still be playing Red Dead Redemption 2, there’s a reasonably quiet week ahead on the Xbox One Digital Games store.
The biggest release of the week (we suppose) is Call of Cthulhu: The Official Video Game, a digital adaptation of Chaosium’s beloved pen and paper RPG from Cyanide Studio. The promotional blurb for the game promises that ‘your mind will suffer’, so that’s nice.
Slightly cheerier – although we’ll still be bricking it – is the Lego Harry Potter Collection. The double-pack remaster of TT Games’ Years 1-4 and Years 5-7 features local co-op, and is 4K enhanced on Xbox One X.
Our pick of the week is The First Tree, David Wehle’s sumptuous exploration game in which you must reunite a fox with its missing family, and uncover the story of a son and his estranged father. It’s beautiful, dramatic, and affecting. It’s also heading to PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
All of this week’s releases are available from the Xbox digital games store, or via the Microsoft web store. Here’s the full release lineup.
