Torchlight III and The Jackbox Party Pack 7 headline this week’s list of new Xbox One releases.
Quiplash has long been our favourite game in the Jackbox Party series, so we’re excited to pick up the seventh collection of multiplayer party games which includes Quiplash 3 along with Blather Round, The Devils and the Details, Champ’d Up, and Talking Points. It’s an accessible franchise (players just need a smartphone to take part) and if it’s up to the standard of previous packs, good times are guaranteed.
Another notable release is Torchlight III. The series is now under the stewardship of Echtra Games, and although the game doesn’t quite recapture the magic of the 2010 original, it’s a fun (and satisfyingly crunchy) hack and slash action RPG.
Other new Xbox One releases include Cloudpunk, NHL 21, and Raji: An Ancient Epic.
Each new game can be purchased from the Xbox One digital games store or the Microsoft web store. We’ll update this post throughout the week with any late additions to the lineup.
