Return of the Obra Dinn and Children of Morta are among the new video games coming to Xbox One between October 14-18, 2019.
If you’ve read our roundup of this week’s new PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch games, many of this week’s Xbox One releases will be familiar.
The two highlights are Lucas Pope’s mystery adventure game Return of the Obra Dinn and Dead Mage’s action RPG, Children of Morta. Both push their respective genres in interesting new directions and both are highly recommended.
Old school RPG fans should also check out the new console versions of Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale, Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate II. The quality of each game is undeniable and the updated console ports from Beamdog look top-notch.
Other new releases include The Jackbox Party Pack 6 and Kong Orange’s inventive shadow manipulation puzzle rom-com, Felix the Reaper. Don’t you just love video games?
