This week’s lineup of new Xbox releases includes racing game MotoGP 22 and Winter Ember.
MotoGP 22 is the latest entry in Milestone’s increasingly impressive motor-racing simulation series. This year’s release features an in-depth career campaign and a 17-chapter recreation of the 2009 season that incorporates archival footage and narration from director Mark Neale. The full-featured package includes more than 120 racers, 20 official circuits and the addition of split-screen multiplayer for the first time.
A slower, more considered experience is on offer from Winter Ember, a new stealth adventure from Sky Machine Studios that looks delightfully grim. Or you can let loose in Metal Tales: Overkill, which developer Zerouno Games describes as the “ultimate 3D roguelike guitar-shooter”. That’s quite the pitch.
Other new Xbox releases include orbit.industries, Deck of Ashes, and Anuchard. Chernobylite also gets an Enhanced Edition reissue on Series X|S.
