Bugnsax and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe headline this week’s lineup of new Xbox releases.
Young Horses’ Bugsnax is one of the most distinctive games released over the past few years. On the surface, it’s a charming and offbeat creature adventure with a cast of quirky characters. Dig a little deeper, and you’ll uncover a macabre story that is definitely, erm, food for thought. A trip to Snaktooth Island is highly recommended, especially as the game is released day and date on Xbox Game Pass.
This week’s other recommendation is also full of intrigue. The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is a new version of Davey Wreden and William Pugh’s classic 2013 first-person narrative adventure game. It features an expanded story and a host of mysterious changes that make it part remake and part sequel. Or does it? The only way to find out, we expect, is to play it.
Other new Xbox releases include The House of the Dead: Remake, Micro Pico Racers, and Rogue Legacy 2.
