Want to play Mass Effect: Andromeda on PC? Here are the system requirements you’ll need to explore the galaxy.

Are we about to begin one of the best months in video game history? Based on reviews of Horizon: Zero Dawn, and early impressions of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, it’s certainly off to an amazing start. And in a few short weeks we’ll also get to play BioWare’s latest opus, Mass Effect: Andromeda. Preview footage is certainly promising and if the game can combine the best elements of the original trilogy, it should be something really special.

To explore the galaxy at its most beautiful you’ll probably want to play the science-fiction RPG on PC, but what are the system requirements you’ll need to make the stars of Andromeda shine the brightest?

Electronic Arts have now released the Mass Effect: Andromeda system requirements via the game’s Origin page. And here they are:

Minimum Mass Effect: Andromeda System Requirements

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-6350
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB, AMD Radeon 7850 2GB
  • Hard Drive: At least 55 GB of free space
  • DirectX: DirectX 11

Recommended Mass Effect: Andromeda System Requirements

  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD FX-8350
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Video Card NVIDIA GTX 1060 3GB, AMD RX 480 4GB
  • Hard Drive: At least 55 GB of free space
  • DirectX: DirectX 11
